Description
When Georgia Gwinnett College received status as a four-year institution in 2006, the Board of Regents mandated that all other USG System institutions vacate the spaces being occupied on its campus. Following an extensive search for available space and/or building sites within Gwinnett County, UGA determined that the Intellicenter building was the most suitable location for its Gwinnett County academic programs.
The Intellicenter building is a newly constructed, 3-story, 150,000 sf facility that houses the University of Georgia - Gwinnett Campus on the entire first floor and a portion of the second floor. The building houses classrooms, student support and office space to meet the needs of the UGA programs on the Gwinnett Campus
